Virtual Rosh Chodesh Iyar
Thursday, April 30, 2020 • 6 Iyyar 5780
1:00 PM - 3:00 PMZoomAll women are invited to a virtual Rosh Chodesh. The topic will be the holiday of Lag B'Omer which will be observed May 12. Usually considered a minor holiday, this year it has special significance because it offers a day of joy in the midst of a period of semi-mourning. It also commemorates the ending of a plague! Linda Halpern will offer a few words about the history of the observance, and then we'll have a discussion about ways we can find joy in our own challenging times.
