Adult Education & Programming

Temple Anshe Amunim is a community of learners. We offer a variety of adult learning experiences. Each year we offer a range of exciting programs. Currently we are offering classes exploring Judaism in the New World, Short Stories and discussions, and a class on Israel.

Yankee Jewdle: Jews in the New World led by Rabbi Valerie Lieber
Most of us are familiar with at least some of the Jewish history and culture from the 1880s to now, but what about the Jewish history of the Western Hemisphere from 1654 to 1875?

This class will delve into the lives of Sephardic Jews in the colonial era, German Jews of the early United States (including those who brought Reform Judaism here), and Jews of the Caribbean.

You may register in advance online by clicking here. Or email the temple office  templeoffice@ansheamunim.org

Classes will be in person and on Zoom on 3 Wednesdays at noon January 14, 21, 28.
