Hilda Vallin Feigenbaum Lecture Series

The Hilda Vallin Feigenbaum Memorial Lecture Series brings programs of outstanding social, political and cultural significance to the Berkshires.

Hilda's sons, Dr. Armand Feigenbaum and Dr. Donald Feigenbaum, leaders in the field of Total Quality Management, established the Lecture Series as a living memorial to their mother's spirit and interest in Judaism's traditions.  Upon their deaths, the Drs. Feigenbaum have created a Hilda Vallin Feigenbaum Memorial Lecture Endowment Fund that will ensure continuing lectures in perpetuity.

Each year the Temple hosts speakers from fields such as politics, journalism and social action for a lecture that is free and open to the public.

53rd Annual Hilda Vallin Feigenbaum Memorial Foundation Lecture was held on August 30, 2020 at 7:30 pm via an online platform.

This year's speaker was Mara Liasson and the topic was "The 2020 Election and the Future of Our Democracy."  Mara Liasson is a national political correspondent for NPR. Her reports can be heard regularly on NPR's award-winning newsmagazine programs Morning Edition and All Things Considered. Liasson provides extensive coverage of politics and policy from Washington, DC — focusing on the White House and Congress — and also reports on political                                         trends beyond the Beltway.

Please watch our website for more information on who our guest speaker will be for 2021.
